From 2023 Nina Buteva Art Studio in the persons of Nina and Daria Ternova-Bordun have developed a number of events dedicated to the ancient times, the bridge between Ukraine and Japan. Starting from 2023, a number of events dedicated to the theme of uniting Ukrainian and Japanese historical and cultural heritage took place.
We traveled, painted, got to know each other, studied, sculpted, invented stories and met with specialists in the field of antiquity.
On 23.03.2023, 24.03.2024, a friendly cross-exhibition took place in the city of Sakai, dedicated to the great past of the ancient civilizations of Ukraine and Japan.
Our experiments in the field of communication of ancient knowledge of Ukraine were interestingly reflected in the honorable past of the Japanese cultural property. The search led us to the city of Nara, a museum dedicated to the khaniwas. There we saw fragments of Scythian culture! Our countries have been connected for a long time.
We gathered like-minded artists, prepared material and organized several events dedicated to ancient khaniwas and Ukrainian Polovtsian babas.
The exhibition at the City Hall also brought great results for artists from Ukraine!
A friendly thematic meeting on the topic of cultural heritage in the Sumiyoshi temple center also allowed to dive into the ancient history of Japan.
The work is still ongoing, because this topic is very deep and mysterious. Thank you to everyone who helps us along the way! Thank you for your support and participation!
